Unprecedented Detection Range
Combining the Krypton FXG50’s thermal sensor with a powerful objective lens enables this thermal imaging front attachment to provide an unprecedented detection range of up to 2300m (of a standard 1.8m tall object or animal) in total darkness.
Up to 8 Hours Battery Life
Offers up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge (depending on temperature) thanks to the quick change replaceable IPS7 battery pack, operating effectively the whole night through without needing to be replaced.
Highly Sensitive Thermal Sensor
The highly sensitive 640×480, 12µm thermal sensor within the Krypton FXG50 provides a crisp and vividly contrasted thermal image, for enhanced identification of animals and their extremities, as well as smaller details such as branches, leaves, grass, and terrain – even in harsh weather conditions such as heavy rain, fog, and snow.
The HD AMOLED display presents a richly contrasted, crystal clear, and vivid image, providing flawless, high-resolution imagery whilst saving power.
Quick Release Adaptor
Attachment of this thermal imaging device to a day scope has been made nice and easy, with the quick release PSP adaptor mount. This mount will precisely align the Krypton FXG50’s field of view with the central point of the riflescope’s field of view, thus effortlessly achieving the optimal viewing position.
High Calibre Recoil Rated
The Krypton FXG50 is recoil rated up to 6,000 joules, achieving flawless performance even on large calibres up to .375 H&H, 12-gauge and 9.3×64.
The Krypton FXG50 is also IPX7 waterproof rated, meaning it is protected against heavy rainfall, snow, fog, and other precipitation. It will even run flawlessly after submersion in up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes.
Magnesium Alloy Housing
The Krypton FXG50 uses a rugged and lightweight magnesium alloy housing to increase structural rigidity and protect against high calibre rifle recoils, reducing the vibrations during a shot and enhancing ballistics. The magnesium alloy material also works as a heat sink, effectively dissipating heat caused by the device’s internal electronics.
The Krypton’s housing, power unit, optics, and electronics have all been designed for use within a wide variety of temperatures and environments. This thermal imaging monocular will operate reliably in extreme temperatures, from -25 to +50°C.
Point of Impact Stability
A sequential layout of optical and electronic components provides precise sight alignment and ease of adjustability, allowing the user to better focus on fast target acquisition and shot placement in low-light conditions, removing the need for any stressful, complex adjustments. The design of this thermal imaging monocular ensures stability of the point-of-impact when focusing for different distances.
Built-In Still Image & Video Recorder
The built-in still image and video recorder will enable the user to capture once-in-a-lifetime experiences when out in the field, allowing them to relive their favourite moments over and over, and will even offer the ability to share these instances with friends and family. One simple press of the REC button is all it takes to capture hours of footage or thousands of images that can be stored either on the Krypton FXG50’s 16GB of internal memory, or on the 16GB of free cloud storage available to users on the Stream Vision 2 app. Photos and videos can also be downloaded to a laptop or PC via simple connection of a Micro USB cord.
The built-in Wi-Fi module in the Krypton FXG50 allows for connection to Android or iOS smartphones or tablets using the Stream Vision 2 app, opening up a wide array of features and controls over digital functionalities.
Use your mobile phone as a wireless remote, so you can control and adjust your device’s settings. You can then see all the changes you make on your smartphone or tablet screen in real-time. You can also record footage or take still images using your mobile phone.
